Ali Habbtar

Ali Habtar is the Director of the Upstream Development Strategy & Reserves Department and has over 20 year of industry experience. Mr. Habtar’s current responsibilities include; the development of long-term strategic plans that maximize the value of Saudi Aramco’s hydrocarbon resources, is the technical gate keeper for Saudi Aramco’s reserves, and is also in charge of Saudi Aramco’s subsurface Upstream carbon circularity initiatives. Mr. Habtar holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering Penn State University and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
