Special Report December 2024 - January 2025Between September-November 2024, the private sector, which has long been a central pillar keeping Lebanon alive through years of economic and political turmoil, has reckoned with war-sized challenges. During a conflict that could easily have become irredeemably catastrophic to the to the economic futures of many sectors, the private sector continued exhibiting its now hallmark resilience, this time with an even greater display of collective action. In this Special Report, Executive sat down with representatives of various economic sectors from the Lebanese Private Sector Network (LPSN) to gain an in-depth understanding of the quickly developed coping mechanisms, networks of support, central obstacles, and next steps for the economy at large.
