Lemma is a journalist from London covering international current affairs and culture, currently a One World Media Fellow 2022 working on a reporting project about reforestation and wildfires in northern Lebanon. She won the 2019 Rupert Cornwell Prize for foreign journalism for a series on the Yezidis for The Independent. Previously,she was an arts manager with the Ruya Foundation, supporting contemporary culture in Iraq and commissioning for the Iraqi Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
