Oussama Safa

Oussama Safa is the Chief of the Social Justice Section at the UN ESCWA in Beirut, focusing on social and economic inequality, political economy, and citizen participation. He previously served as General Director of the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies and has extensive experience in research, advocacy, and capacity building. Mr. Safa holds graduate degrees in international affairs and international development from The American University, Washington, DC, and an undergraduate degree in political science from the American University of Beirut.
