Sven Vehrendt

Sven Behrendt, a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Middle East Center, specializes in corporate strategy and political risk management, with a focus on Sovereign Wealth Funds from emerging economies. Previously, he significantly contributed to the World Economic Forum, leading its mining and metals industry practice, and was a Research Fellow at the Bertelsmann Foundation, facilitating European-Middle Eastern policy dialogue. He is also a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.
