When it was announced that we were expanding Executive’s content to cover the MENA region “from Morocco to Iraq,” many people asked if we were “evacuating” to Dubai. It must be made clear that this was never our intention. Executive is a Lebanese magazine that will develop around journalism, not advertising – and Lebanon has always been a hub for serious journalism. Yes, we will be building a solid network of business and economic analysts, experts and reporters throughout the region to produce what we hope will be the most authoritative and compelling business writing in the Arab world, but by rooting Executive in Lebanon, we demonstrate our commitment to our trade and to our country, in whose survival we have always believed.
