Talal Salman started his career with Al-Hawadeth weekly. In 1974, he founded As-Safir daily, which would reach the second largest circulation of Lebanese newspapers after An-Nahar. He was the spokesman of the "Islamo-progressive" left wing during the Lebanese civil war.Talal F. Salman is UNDP project director for fiscal reform in Lebanon
 
	Vahakn Kabakian
Climate change professional, with experience in public, international organization and academic sectors. Strong background in climate change strategy development and execution (particularly policy strategy), and project management. Advisory role with several ministers of environment and Lebanese government departments at large. Specialties: climate change and energy and policy; international climate negotiations; national climate finance structures, de-risking of climate investments; climate change mitigation, nationally appropriate mitigation actions, Nationally Determined Contributions and low emission development strategies; measuring, reporting, and verifying (MRV) structures; national greenhouse gas inventory system design; climate and sustainability.
