As his first project, Jean-Claude Boulos put up a building for the first television station in the Middle East, Tele Liban. In his last, he ran a television station in Iraq. He established his own advertising company and led it to prominence.   Over a career spanning 54 years, Jean-Claude was a shaper of television and advertising in Lebanon. Starting out as engineer who helped construct Tele Liban in 1958 he rose to become the station’s program director and a presenter until 1970.  The climax of his TV role was being appointed chief executive of Tele Liban in 1996. It also turned out to be his biggest disappointment, as he saw the station collapse from political infighting in the highest echelons of Lebanon’s government.
